ZERO NET ENERGY BUILDINGS
Zero Net Energy buildings generate renewable energy on site, that is largely equal to the amount of energy used by the building itself.

Since Net Zero buildings do not draw too much energy from the country’s power grid – energy that is generated typically using non-renewable sources – these buildings typically contribute less by way of greenhouse gases and pollution, as well as reduced energy consumption. These buildings often draw energy from the grid, but usually return the energy at a later stage.
